Happy Robbie Burns Night to Everybody

So we just got back from the pub, where we had a delicious meal of haggis, neeps and tatties along with a glass of whiskey and a pint of beer to celebrate Burns Night.  An evening of food, drink and songs dedicated to the greatest poet of Scotland, Robbie Burns, who, we found out tonight, is revered because he drank all the whiskey, slept with all the women, wrote poems about mice and died of syphilis.
